Mindfulness and meditation services are not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment.
Our offerings are designed to teach participants the tools needed to develop and cultivate a mindfulness and self-compassion practice of their own. They are not a substitute for ongoing mental health care, personal therapy or medical treatment.
Personal safety, agency and emotional wellbeing are the foundation of these trainings and you are primarily responsible for your own safety and choice.
Teachers and facilitators are not expected or able to provide medical and/or professional psychological care. Mindfulness meditation may bring up challenging memories or feelings, which is very natural, yet can bring feelings of overwhelm and vulnerability that need presence and support, and that may include the involvement of relevant health or wellbeing professionals.
If you have experience with a serious mental health condition, cPTSD-related symptoms, or other concerns you think may impact your ability to participate in a class or course, please contact The Pebble Room or your healthcare professional to determine what is right for you at the moment. Your personal contact information may be used in the event the teacher/facilitator reasonably determines a need to call next of kin or emergency services on your behalf.

One-to-one sessions & Walk n Talk
Kirstie offers bespoke one-to-one mindfulness sessions, which can take the form of private guidance and reflection practices, Walk n Talk sessions in nature, or/and video/phone support.
Although never a replacement for therapy or medical professionals, having the encouragement and support of a mindfulness teacher can propel and enhance your own journey to deeper self-awareness and overall wellbeing.
